My husband and I relocated from Texas to Indiana... We had been talking about it for a long time before we finally did it, and so far I am so glad we did! His family is from this area, but he was born and raised in Texas, he moved up here several years ago and moved back down to TX and that's when we met. I was born and raised in TX by Texans, so Texas is just about the only thing I've ever known. I kinda thought Indiana would be flat corn fields, but OMG IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!! I've never seen fall colors like this before, I can't wait for the snow! I am so happy we took the plunge and moved up here. All the fall festivals, all the beautiful colors, the smells... I really feel like I'm home.

We moved to Danville close to his family, they have children our son's age. I love the small town feel of Danville. I'm from a big city so it's a huge change.

My only complaint is that the Cowboys aren't on regular television. Haha!

As i like to say Indiana and Texas are very much alike. Conservative states with highly ranked good business climates and low unemployment and fast growth. Also Indiana had to fight people just like texas to stay with the USA. Indiana had to fight the Native American Indians and Texas the Mexicans at the Alamo and so on. If i had to choose between 2 states to live in Indiana and Texas are my only 2 choices. (Minus the Weather in Texas but we all have our wild weather days

oh and don't forget the low cost of living and taxes!
