And you were just about to say how much nicer Hoosier National Forest is compared to Redwood National Park. Sorry, been waiting to tease you about your comment saying how much nicer the Appalachians are compared to the Rockies. They're both nice, just like both forests are nice, but a majority would probably agree the Rockies are nicer and the Redwoods are nicer. Just your friend from Madiganistan (Illinois) making sure the hyperbole stays in check The economy of the 2nd largest metro area is still diverse and strong despite the State's financial issues. Just as it is in Chicago..........

TBH in my opinion their both nice in their own respective ways, and I prefer the Appalachians due to culture, weather, etc.

Although if I could have the Rockies in the east instead of the west, that would be better.

Looks like we need to call domergurl to take care of this.

You put this stuff out there and take every opportunity to bash every other state in the country. But then when someone calls you on it you run to the mods?

Every member of this forum is wrong unless they agree with you.

Actually Southern Indiana and Brown County is a beautiful area

I remember one year me and my wife spent labor day weekend down there

went to a quaint little restaurant I believe in Story Book, IN????

Been a long long time ago.

Lovely place though and to think (gasp) they accepted money from Illinois

No doubt; I've camped at Brown Co State Park (and Tippacanoe and Turkey Run). I like Indiana but was just calling B-R on his hyperbole and often "unbalanced" boosterism.
I was not "putting down" Hoosier National Forest or the Appalachians in making my point.

Oh I know..

But yes both places are awesome

I even enjoyed the historic town of Madison, IN

The Southern portion of the Hoosier state is wonderful absolutely love it down there.

Just to be clear and not to offend the central portion of the state or northern half I am speaking of the lay of the land the gently rolling hills and the wooded ares.

I love camping and biking at Brown County State park. I've made three trips there just this month. Some of the best mountain biking in the Midwest!

Brown County is nice.
Heck i believe they are building a Zip Line down there.
Damn Indy starts this Zipline Craze with Super Bowl 46 haha

also i dont run to the mods when people disagree with me.
I run to the mods when there are 5+ people teaming up and basically flash mobbing me.
This happened a few months ago. 5+ users just came around and started bashing me and quoting me etc.
If you want to debate thats fine. Its not a fair or even a debate when its 5 VS 1. thats just ganging up on someone.

I don't know these other posters. We didn't plan an attack. We're not "mobbing" you. When you write really stupid things, expect a response.

The "pure capitalism" of the Indianapolis economy looks like a little girl's lemonade stand compared to the raw creative power of the California coast. Arguing the opposite is going to attract a lot of mocking. Stick to talking about the low cost of living and extensive cornfields available to develop into housing tracts, yeah?
