A long 4 years for Indianapolis (Vernon: law, county, party)

Year just starting out and the City-County council is already bickering on the first day just trying to come up with who will make up committees. Democrats yanking seats away because the law says they can instead of at least a minimum upholding what has always been with regards to party breakdown with committee seats and again all on day 1.

Vernon Brown has already set a precedent of what he's going to be about and it's not a good one when you state you are not willing to negotiate on the very first day. It's a sign of bad leadership and hopefully new Council president Lewis will truly take control and lead by example but something tells me not to be too hopeful of that.
