I think Fishers is a super place!! Love all the stores, shopping, restaurants and convenience in getting around. Driving 116th Street east of I-69 is a breeze since it is so wide and fast to get around on.
One drawback I have noticed...Fishers doesn't have a Culligan water softerner place and I have to go all the way to 38th and Shadeland. Hey Culligan man, open up in Fishers!

We used Aqua Systems when we lived in Fishers.

Does Aqua Systems equal or exceed Culligan's soft water? do they have a showroom where my wife can try it out to see if Aqua makes her skin soft and silky smooth like Culligan?

They are on 116th & Allisonville, across from Sahm's. I loved my system so much that I have a new and bigger one in my house here in Columbus!

Great place to live!
I'd highly recommend Fishers! My family has lived here for over 3 years now and love it. The schools and the people in the community are 1st class.

do they sell Aqua salt for it or can you put any old kind of salt in an Aqua?
we have tried different kinds of water softeners in the past and nothing worked as well as a Culligan with good Culligan solar salt.
one drawback to using a Culligan system in or around Indy is the price of a small 40 lb bag of solar salt. (They went from 80 lb bags down to 40) Culligan at 38th and Shadeland wants around $7.99 per 40 lb. bag and they told me they never have a salt sale day each month with reduced prices on salt.
does Aqua have a salt sale special each month?

Depends what you are looking for in Fishers house-wise. Sawgrass is a slightly older community (about 7 to 8 years old), but it is great. The people here are all friends. Lots of parties, summer BBQ's, kids, bunco, euchre...all the good stuff. Highly recommended. Of course, I live here so I could be biased, but I have never in my life met a nicer group of people...I am happy to call them neighbors and friends.

Fishers isn't that big, and very similar everywhere, so its just a question of what you can afford. In Fisher's case, it's all good...

Best places to live in fishers by a resident

If you can spend 375K+, I would recommend gray eagle. There are lot other communities which I am not aware of in that range.
If you can spend 300K+, you have lot more options: Somerset woods by Drees, Oak hall by estridge, and many more.
If you want below 300K, then you have meadow brooks by Pulte, Tanglewood and Avalon.
Out of all I liked dress rich elevations and floor plans. Pulte floor plans are also good but not as many options as drees have. If you like estridge floor plans, then try Their lots in Somerset woods. They have tree line, huge lawn space, lake with fountain all comes behind your big back yard. they are pretty.
Good luck.
