Are you a 2010, 2011 or 2012 graduate with a bachelors or masters who is having trouble finding work?
Are there any groups of networking for jobs among recent grads here in Indy?
I'd like to hear your story of difficulties finding a job in your field.
Thanks all.

1990 Business grad who is a career machinist because thats where the earnings are. I have no pity for recent grads who have to work out of their chosen career. I respect those who get up everyday and work regardless of where or what they are doing

^ Talk about a clueless mindset, most grads these day are either underemployed or unemployed altogether, has a lot to do with your generation failing us.

How has Generation X failed you? We're not in charge of the country yet.

I hear the same story from many grads who are unable to find a job in their chosen field.

I graduated in 2006 from the University of Southern Indiana, a school that some say produces inferior graduates. Maybe I've been somewhat lucky.............but since graduating I've never been unemployed longer than two weeks and my wages and job responsibilites have increased annually.

Our 2012 grad had a job offer last fall and will start working in her field in June. She was being considered for a different position before she accepted this one. She also had excellent grades and a pretty impressive resume for some one her age.

I recently finished a grad level program-end of 2011 to add some new skills to my resume. I am now working in a new field and have a second job interview this week for a better position (better for me).
Both jobs are in Indy area.
