It is sad but i can't help but think the Driver is at fault.
If its a 4 lane road and the driver struck the center support beam im guessing the driver fell asleep

Maybe there were kids fighting and he was yelling at them. Maybe he was dodging a pedestrian or car that entered his path. It was raining heavily and dark at the time, maybe that was a factor. I don't know, and you don't know. Don't accuse the driver of being asleep at the wheel when you don't know the facts.

Regardless the driver WASN'T paying attention.
But ya if kids were arguing and in an indirect way caused the death of a driver and a child i would feel extremely horrified if i were the kids.

Really? Do you have ANY idea how hard it was raining this morning in Indianapolis? Do you know ANYTHING about that stretch of Emerson Ave just south of English Ave?

We may find out that the driver was not paying attention, we may find out that something else happened. This just happened a few hours ago, there is NO REASON for some kid from South Bend to be blaming the driver so soon.

The driver is dead. There is no way to know what happened and it could have just been a tragic accident. He could have been cut off by a car thrown a few feet by standing water, or any other thing.

There will be enough second guessing from the media.

They're already talking about "improving" safety conditions on school buses already. Am I the only one who thinks that it's a little unnecessary?

If there were kids as old as 16, they may be able to piece together what happened. My guess is that the bus driver was distracted by something going on in the bus.
