LOLOLOLOL... This cracks me up! From personal experience, anytime someone NEEDS to tell you how "smart", "good looking", "athletic", "rich" etc etc they are.. In reality... WAIT, I'll stop there, don't want to get in trouble with the mods regarding their lil forum darling!

Ballard personally told me he saw that CME group was not using Indianapolis to get a corporate welfare handout. it may seem that way but then you have to consider the business CME is in.
Regardless in 10 years when the corporate welfare handout expires ill be meeting with Ballard or whoever is mayor then and ask them to write CME a *Blank Check* to get them to Indianapolis. Ballard as well as me know that CME moving to Indy would change the city forever. just like when the colts moved.
Msam one thing you should know about me is im persistent. i wont rest until CME groups headquarters/electronic trading operations are in Indianapolis. Chicago can keep the trading pits. thats fine by me.
Wasn't happening Broad! It's the same dog and pony show Cat is about to make Illinois jump through and like clockwork, they will.

oh about CAT................ already mentioned it to him yesterday and Ballard wasnt aware of it so he thanked me for the info and DevelopIndy is going to be notified. so expect Indy to go after CAT shortly.
plus if you think about it Indy just downright eats Peoria so if CAT wants a better future they need to look to a bigger city for talent and workers

Ballard as well as me know CME would be a tough nut to crack.
CAT though wouldnt be that hard to get to Indianapolis.
Heck the Star building would be a nice place to locate their HQ.
or even better the unused office space in one of the skyscrapers. 15% office vacancy offers Indy some options.
plus Cats headquarters dates from the 1960s. they would need to spend millions updating the place. or just spend those millions and save millions on taxes and be in a state with a better business climate and outlook.

You don't get it. CAT is not leaving Peoria. They are way to ingrained into the local community to just pull up roots.
