Smile Working in Plainfield, IN

I am going to be a new transplant from the south here soon and have just started to research areas to live in. I have only been to Indianapolis once so I'm not familiar with ANY of the areas! Any suggestions on a safe and affordable area thats commutable to Plainfield? Thanks!

No specifics but just want to say that Plainfield and the other areas close like Avon and Danville are all boom towns with loads of housing, schools, etc. Should be no problem finding what you want. Mostly new housing since the boom is fairly recent.

Brownsburg is also an excellent place to live if you are looking for a shorter commute. Just to the north of Plainfield, with cheaper apartment rentals than Avon.

I recommend Dublin Glen Apartments. 2 bedroom apartment will run about $450-$500 a month; they're very clean and well kept. Older population as well, with 4 apartments to each building.

It's about a 20 minute trip to anywhere in Plainfield from Brownsburg, and they are known for having an excellent school system (of which, I do not know, as I do not have children).
