International School (Zionsville: lawyers, public school, live in)

Hello,

Anyone have any thoughts on the International School (other than tuition rates)? If anyone is sending their children there or knows firsthand of families that go there, we would really like to know your opinions of the school. We will be at a crossroads when our daughter will be ready to enter kindergarten and are looking for a good language immersion school. Since we currently live here we wanted to start with Indy. We've been all over the school's site, read greatschool reviews, and looked at everything we could so far, but someone who has experience would be helpful.

I think it is a pretty good school. There are a lot of people who choose that school over IPS. Not sure if they pick it due to lack of religious backing, or it is just close to home, or whatever. The school has to offer a great education because I know of some lawyers and other upper level education types that send their kids to the school.

One of my former colleagues sends their kids to the International School. They have been very happy with the experience, and live in Zionsville, so they are choosing it over a relatively good public school system as well.
