I'm a long-running pre-paid user, but I'm tired of it.

I'm thinking of moving over to a no-contract data plan from either Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile. T-Mobile is a bit too expensive, and Straight Talk may be of consideration, but I'm just not sure.

"Smart phones" are starting to trickle down, so I want to move up to an Android 4.0 phone. I'm not much of a talker, and I don't think I will use more than 2GB of data a month.

I've been reading bad reviews about Sprint data and dropped calls, so I'm a little worried. Just wondering what people in my city (Indianapolis/Plainfield metro) are using. The reason I bring up Sprint, is because both Boost and Virgin use Spring networks.

Does Indianapolis use CDMA network?

I've got virgin mobile and mostly use it in greenfield. I am happy with it. T mobile would probably be better in the Indy area. Also T mobile is the cheapest pre-paid plan out there at $30/month.

I'm with Solavei. It's on the T-Mobile network and is cheaper than T-Mobile, actually. I'm happy with it.

Verizon is CDMA, from my understanding.
