Default Fishers - Sand Creek Farms (anyone know about it?)

I am relocating to Fishers in December from out-of-state. I have found a brand new home with a beautiful floor plan in Sand Creek Farms. It is tough because I will have no opportunity to visit the area before signing my lease as I live in California. The home we are considering LEASING in Sand Creek Farms is being built by KB Homes, is 3br/2ba with more than $40k in upgrades and 2,300 square feet...Stainless steel appliances, crown molding...very beautiful home for $1,500/mo.

Does anyone know about Sand Creek Farms? What kind of neighborhood (upscale, blue-collar, etc.)? Convenience to grocery stores, drugstores, restaurants, etc...Please NO comments on the TRAFFIC...I am well informed of that problem in the area.

Thanks so much!

If you need to go west out of sand creek farms, it's a piece of cake since you'll be making a right hand turn ... going left out of there onto 116th street is a real ordeal. KB Homes are on the cheap side .. good thing it's a rental. There are sand creek apartments next to the single family home section.

You'll be in a great location to get on I-69 or SR 37 north. Supertarget is very close along with most of the other shopping in Fishers.

Good luck!

My former daycare provider lives in Sand Creek. Nice homes, but yes, a little on the cheaper side. The houses look very similar, and there's not much in the way of mature trees or personality to the area. But safe, clean, comfortable, and close to everything in Fishers. You do not have to exit the neighborhood to the busy 4 lane 116th St--there are back ways to 126th that will be much easier to navigate.
Good luck!
