I am willing to drive the distance if anyone can recommend an endocrinologist in Indy who is thorough,
knowledgeable, does all the necessary exams and tests and listens to his patients. I am posting this
on the Indianapolis forum hoping a member can help. You can send me a direct or private message.

Any specific type of endocrinologist? Reproductive, neuro, pediatric? IU Dept of Endocrinology has been great for my needs. I can give specific doc names if you have a specialty in mind.

Thank you for the reply. This would be for thyroid and type 2 diabetes (adults).

Dr. Marguerite Shepard at IU is great - she specializes in reproductive endocrinology, but also PCOS and Type 2 diabetes. She also isn't a huge med pusher, which was great because I found that some doctors wanted to write a script and be done. She is part of a group (search for IU endocrinology).

Ana Priscu at St. Francis South Campus is fantastic as well - she does necessarily specialize in fertility, but focuses more on Type 2 diabetes and Syndrome X. Good luck!
