I know there are the random chinese restaurants here in town, plus some chains like golden corral but what are some other good ones (preferably on the east side)?

I just tried Papa Roux and enjoyed it, they have unlimited side dishes.

Fogo De Chao is also good, but kind of pricey (I prefer to stay under $15-20 a person).

Papa Roux's sides are technically unlimited, but I believe they ask that you limit yourself to two as a courtesy. Papa's is a tremendous food bargain.

I struggle to think of any cheap food buffet with memorable food. Anywhere.

Tucanos is another Brazilian steakhouse. Not quite Fogo quality but still very good and fits into budget easily at lunch.

They do, but I ended up eating about 10 or 12 sides so it all worked out in the end for me.

Teppanyaki Grill at Washington and Mithoeffer and The Journey off East 96th St are the only two buffets I eat by choice.

Oh; and the lunch buffet at India Garden downtown is pretty good too. India Palace by Lafayette Square too.

There use to be a place in Hagerstown where it was all you can eat for a certain price. It use to be one of the best places to eat home cooked food in East Central Indiana. I believe its still there, but don' t quote me on that. Hagerstown is probably about 50 miles from 465 & 70, but its worth the drive if they're still in bidness. I just wish I could remember the name of it. They were open on Sundays and the place would be jam packed at noon time. First time I ever ate oyster dressing was there.

Wellivers in Hagerstown shut down 5-10 years ago. We used to go there for birthdays and family celebrations.

LOL, someone in my family got bad food poisoning from Wellivers once, plus it was pretty pricey from what I recall.

I thought I saw a sign on the side of the road on east washington a little east of the 465 loop that was advertising a Tex Mex all you can eat buffet, somewhere near post. I will have to drive by again sometime to verify it.

Outside of the Journey I really like Watami Sushi All You Can Eat on Pendleton Pike.
