Please link to the original article rather than a site with an agenda to push.

Pacers owner seeking major renovations to Bankers Life Fieldhouse

There's no mention of cost or where the money will come from. And the Pacers are locked into Bankers Life through the 2023-2024 season. They can't threaten to leave town like they did last time.

I really don't see the problem with the stadium. IMO, it's one of the nicer large indoor stadiums I've been in.

Having a pro sports team in your city is a privilege. Especially for small markets like Indy. Pay up or they will just go to another city.
