pretty funny domergurl! A few families we knew from suburban Chicago that were relocated to IN ended up in Hamilton County, most in Carmel. The reason: because it was so much like what they knew in the western suburbs (only cheaper!)

I believe the following statement is a bit of a stretch in light of an ailing housing market:

"Despite traffic, school overpopulation and land use concerns, experts say Hamilton County shows no signs of slowing down for years to come."

I'm sure the ailing housing mkt will slow the growth to some degree, but I think what was meant by that is that based on the trending data, there is nothing that would indicate that the growth would lessen to any degree that would cause them to slip from the fastest growing area in the state. It doesnt have to continue growing at the rate it has, it just has to keep growing faster than other areas to remain the fastest growing.
