I'm up to my knees with problems in my "New" Davis Home. The last chapter started this past Saturday when we received a court summons naming us in a legal suit against Davis Homes. Appears they failed to do a very important thing when building our home - pay for the material!!!
Legal representation to pursue our interest is upwards of $230.00 per hour and indicates it will start at $5000 upwards. The real kicker - we will not be able to recoup our cost. Looking for anyone with suggestions or who has had a similar experience. |

You might want to post on the more general real estate forum for advice. This is too often a problem when builders start to fail and the subs and vendors are not paid.
