Default 126th street widening project in Fishers?

I know city of Fishers have proposed of widening the 126th street from Olio to SR37.

Do you know when does this project going to start and how long is going to take and where they are going to start first?

Any Idea?

Since they are going to have to completely reconstruct the bridge over I-69 and possibly use the court system to get land from some homeowners, it may be awhile ...

I heard they are starting from Hoosier rd to Olio from spring 2009?

Does this project bring value to communities around it?

I just think it will alleviate traffic on 116th and it will be easier to get to FHS and HSE.

I heard construction was supposed to start in the spring of '08, but has been delayed until spring '09. The bridge over 69 will be tricky, since 126th crosses 69 at such an odd angle. My guess is the house at the corner of 126th and Hoosier is where they are trying to aquire land. The land on the west side of the bridge is taken up by Billericay Park and Fishers High School athletic fields. A light at 126th and Promise would also be welcome.

I lived on 126th street near 37 in Fishers from 1995 until 2000. I found that starting in about 1998, I had to clear the 37/69 interchange before 7AM in the morning or else I found myself sitting still near 116th street for long periods of time. Likewise to get off at 82nd street when I worked in that area. Based on the growth in Fishers at the time I left, I'm sure it is much worse now. What are delays like nowdays?

Thanks,
Frank
