2k
If I came to Indianapolis on 2K, with no car....would that be enough to get an apartment, and a cheap car? I would also have to find a job when I got there.

Personally I would want at least 4k as a safety net but I think 2k is possible if you can get a get a job quick. While still possible, finding $500 cars is getting harder.

Yep, unless you buy one from a crack head that's ate up with rust, on it's last leg and used to smuggle drugs.

I think I can find a cheaper vehicle here in Michigan. Are there any base entry manufacturing jobs there?

just like MI, manufacturing is leaving the state thus jobs are hard to come by. Maybe someone else knows more

ahhhh, great! I need to find a new trade to get myself into. I am filing bankruptcy right now, and I need a new beginning. I am looking to get away from this area and meet a whole new group of people. Any job training around there?

I sympathize with your need for a new beginning. I don't really know what type of job training you are seeking. Your best and cheapest option in IN is Ivy Tech. It might take a few years to complete the training though.
