My husband and I plan to move to Indianapolis and send our kids to Catholic schools. We are unfamiliar with any of the Catholic schools in Indianapolis, and we want to live on the north side of the city. We would really appreciate information on the Catholic schools of Indianapolis (both elementary and high school but mainly elementary). Thanks!

If there was just some sort of world-wide resource where one might be able to find such information...

If your talking about the north side suburbs, Guerin Catholic in Noblesville is a school that was built 14 years ago. Have heard good things about it.

If memory serves, I do believe Indianapolis Cathedral and Indianapolis Chatard are both Catholic high schools. Chatard is near the Broad Ripple neighborhood on the Northside and Cathedral is on the Eastside, but I don't know if that's on the NE, SE or East central. I bet they both have Catholic elementary schools nearby

Spurlock is correct on both of those schools being Catholic. Cathedral would be more NE as it is close to Lawrence and the Fishers area.

Brebeuf Jesuit is another Catholic option though not run by the diocese. It is located more on the NW/NC side of Indy area.

Any of the 4 Catholic High Schools mentioned (Guerin, Brebeuf, Cathedral and Chatard) are ones that people residing in the northern part of Indy or in Carmel, Zionsville, Westfield, and other northern suburbs generally attend.

In most cases elementary school wise there are ones that coincide with the neighborhood catholic church. Will depend mostly on where you end up living north of Indy or in northern Indy proper.
