Indianapolis Real Estate Market
Does anyone know if the market is picking up in the Indy area? I've had my house for sale almost a year now and it doesn't seem to be moving. I'm 6 hours away so I don't hear a whole lot of news from there.
It's priced well below market value and we've had plenty of showings, just no bites.

I don't believe the Indy real estate market has picked up any real steam lately.

Sorry Cochon ... the real estate market is still a desperate home sellers market. People preying on how desperate sellers will go. We are so happy we took ours off!! Buyers expect you to sell for next to nothing ON TOP OF giving a cash incentive at closing ... no way!!! It's sick.

a miracle happened. I know a couple in Indy who actually had a 'showing' this morning. I wonder if the prospective Buyers will want them to throw in all their jewelry, fine china, crystal, furniture, furs, savings, 401(K) plans etc as part of the deal.

I have a 1927 Boilermaker autographed football and a badly damaged rock from the Kansas field where Rockne's plane crashed in 1931. I could throw that in to sweeten the deal.
