Default White paint on basement concrete walls? Any advice???

I don't want to finish the basement with drywall( because, no more investment on home and to avoid any tax increase) instead, I would like to paint white color on my basement concrete walls, so that it looks like finished.

Are there any pros and cons of this. In my view.

pros:

Almost Looks like finished.
More reflective light in basement.
avoid bugs in concrete wall holes.
Any more....

Cons

Cost little money than leaving it as is.
Any more....

painting your basement walls white will not look almost finished. finished would be drywall, ceiling, carpet, etc. If you want more light, recommend you add a daylight window, which is also better for resale because you (or buyer) can add a true finished room in the future

as for bugs, good builders pour concrete walls (werent you building with Drees?) so holes should not be an issue. if you have holes in your basement walls there is an issue.
