Hi All,

I have been fumbling around the Indiana Professional Standards link with no luck... I have a valid NYS and Georgia teaching certificate for high school math and my husband wants to do an alternate certification for elementary ed.

Any suggestions on where to find info on this?

Thanks!

Indiana does certification a bit differently than many states. Since many of the teachers come from state colleges and universities they are a primary source of info. If one completes the appropriate degree, than the license requirements are met. This link may help give you an idea of the requirements in the state for math. http://site.educ.indiana.edu/Portals...une%202008.pdf

I'm not sure if we have an alternate certificate for elementary ed. There is one for secondary education.

Your other best source of information is to look around on this site:
Division of Professional Standards
