Hair salons - question for the women out there!
Don't laugh...again, just moved here....can anyone suggest reputable places for women's haircuts/color, etc? I hate to just walk into a place without a recommendation....any suggestions? Living in Avon....thanks...

It is! I've been going there for almost 2 years now. Sometimes, it can be tough to get in but if you go and end up liking it, they send out emails (weekly maybe?) that have cancellations for the week and they're usually 10% off. Good luck! I hope you like them as much as I do.

I love Salon D'va, they take great care of me. It is right at the intersection of Dan Jones & 36, in the strip mall. April does my hair and she is awesome. Their number is 272-0011... I know it by heart! If you go, tell them I sent you!

What about your husband.? Doesn't he need to get his hair cut too...?

I take the boys (including husband) to Sport Clips at Raceway and Rockville. They do a good job, the guys get to watch sports, and they give you a half-price cut after every 6.

While I have not been there - the Aveda salon offers a great price - when you schedule an appointment with their school at Castleton mall. I think the price is something like $15. ...
