Simple.~ Get the job done.! or get someone who can.!
Trust me, a city with a Mayor with No moral hardline backbone is doomed.
Just look at Memphis ! and It's crime stats. OMG!! {Thanks slick Willy Herenton !}
Then thank ~'someone'~ you're HERE.

After reading the Star this morning, Indianapolis needs to graduate more than 19% of it's male African American high school seniors ... sigh. Worst in the nation people ...WORST!!! And then I read that Don's Guns was literally driven into and pilfered. Get ready for more killin'.

Nice spin. Did you miss this part of the article?

"The rates reflect IPS' concentration of poverty, a key predictor for dropping out. The rankings, compiled by the Schott Foundation for Public Education, include urban districts elsewhere that encompass much larger areas and include more wealthy students.
Only about a quarter of public schoolchildren in Indianapolis attend IPS. And the district -- by big-city standards -- is not especially large, with 35,000 students, and shrinking."

Hope I'm not violating any rules in posting from the IndyStar site. If so, I'm sorry!

I don't think you are.

So basically, a small majority of Indianapolis public school children attend IPS ... this makes it even worse! The few they have are failing!!!

Read the first sentence that I pasted, and think of the geography that IPS covers -- easily the poorest areas in the city, and nothing else. Middle-class black males attend township schools.

We need to drop the Indians and get a professional baseball team.

The cure for the bad schools?.. Privatization.. plain and simple.

With Lucas Oil Stadium, Conseco Fieldhouse, and Victory Field all being among the best facilities in their respective sports/leagues, all being fan-friendly, and all either new or near-new, I don't really see the need for another stadium for a while.
