Today is the day--Super Bowl Sunday
well, all the pre-game hype and sports pundits predictions will be over in a few hours. I can hardly wait for kickoff time. If Domergurl's Bears win on a soggy and muddy field, that will be fine with me. If the Colts win, I fully expect there will be wild celebration in Indy and all over Indiana.
Two great teams have the makings for one great SB game.

Ugh ... Colts should be thanking Rex Grossman ... what a pathetic showing.

Can't blame Grossman for it all. The Colts stuffed the running game on several critical 3rd downs and the Colts ran over the Bears defense for almost 200 yards. Manning didn't play all that well, take away the one play to Wayne and he had less than 200yrds passing with a lot of that going to Addai.

DA DA DA DA DA ............COLTS!! What a great game? Dominic Rhodes was a big reason the Colts won, the running game kept the chains moving and kept the clock running. Grossman wasn't that bad, he wasn't great either. Bears' D was the reason they lost, not Grossman. How's Indy today? Are people going nuts or what?

People went kind of nuts last night. Most are back at work today. Plus it's below zero ...
Grossman played like a deer in the headlights last night. I guess the rain kept it from becoming a blowout. The Bears defense did all they could, well, I can't say that ... their secondary stunk up the place almost as bad as Grossman.

I was in downtown Indy for a Super Bowl party and watched the game last night. Things started off poorly for the Colts but they hung together and fought their way back. Brian Urlacher played a great game for the Bears but that wasn't enough to get the job done.
after the Colts won, I went outside onto Monument Circle which was mobbed with jubilating Colts' fans both in vehicles and on foot. They kept coming too with cars streaming down to Monument Circle.

Domergurl
Rex didn't play such a bad game in my opinion and did as well as one could reasonably expect against a very skilled, experienced and determined Colts' team.
Let's face it. field conditions were lousy and the Colts beat the Bears at their own game---great defense plus strong and determined power running.
