Thanks to all for the kind comments.
I love my neighborhood!
It's a neat mix of Colonial/Arts and Craft/ Bungalow/and Tudor Revival styles.
Those arches on my porch are a hallmark of the Tudor style.
We have small yards, but there are two large city parks a few blocks away, so...yay for little mowing in the summer!
Columbus lacks some of big-city ammenities(restaurants???), but I must say it's a nice small town if one is looking for a slower pace of life or a place to raise a family.

Those arches are your porch.
That's just wow.
I like that type of architecture. It's just lol it's unexplainable. Places like that just make me stare for hours.

Just wanted to report that this most recent snow is perfect for cross-country skiing!!!
Spent 2.5 outside in the white stuff yesterday.
If you want to give it a go, but don't own skis, Eagle Creek Park has rentals available. May be on the weekends only, so call ahead.

As long as Indiana doesn't get cold and snowy like New Hamsphire I'll be all set The lows here had been like 10-20 below lately (without windchill) It was like a blizzard today with the wind. Felt like 40 below. And the snow, not too bad this winter for NH, but still can't stand it. Can't wait to leave New England!

we've had -10 to -20 degree wind chill temps here in Indiana and about 5+ inches of snow. More snow is expected next week and winter is far from over here. However, it hasn't been anything as bad as the 6 feet of snow in upstate New York.
don't expect southwest Florida temps in Indiana during the cold winter months.

I Don't expect Florida temps. I do expect Southern Indiana winters to be a bit milder than northern New Hampshire. Yes, New York is getting hit hard. For some reason, we didn't even get a flake from that storm. Usually, I'd wake up to find my car covered in 2ft of snow. The winter seasons up here seem to last for ever. It's like 7-8 months of winter here. Spring and Fall are usually sucked up into the winter season. A then, we have a couple of months of summer, which is mostly humid, but there are some nice summer days. Then winters back, it just left and it's back!
