Indiana winter
I am no longer accustomed to heavy snow fall and we’re experiencing one heck of a winter snow storm here. Unbelievable!! Everything is already buried under a heavy blanket of white and it keeps coming down.
Methinks I would rather see palm trees, sand and gators rather than be stuck in this stuff.

That's a great neighborhood plaid!
Sure is pretty!
Here's a pic I took in our backyard about an hour ago ... poor Mr. Cardinal:

do you have any pheasants in your back yard? I love to go pheasant hunting in the snow.

domergurl-nice photo! I'm a sucker for snow pics
Thanks to all for the kind comments.
I love my neighborhood!
It's a neat mix of Colonial/Arts and Craft/ Bungalow/and Tudor Revival styles.
Those arches on my porch are a hallmark of the Tudor style.
We have small yards, but there are two large city parks a few blocks away, so...yay for little mowing in the summer!
Columbus lacks some of big-city ammenities(restaurants???), but I must say it's a nice small town if one is looking for a slower pace of life or a place to raise a family.
