Wink Wedding Reception Venues (Farms...outdoors)

Hello,

I am planning on getting married in the Indianapolis (or surrounding) area in June of 2009. I really would love to have an outdoor wedding reception, and am having trouble finding places. If anyone knows of any great idea, please let me know! I have always like the barn, farm...setting. Or anything that is filled with trees and flowers! Thanks so much!

Alli

Have you thought of Coxhall Gardens in Carmel? Technically, not a farm, but still would be a nice venue.

I wonder if Trader's Point Cremery would do a reception???

I would try Holcomb Garden at Butler University, where many weddings are held, or the Montage at 86th and Keystone, which is designed for what you are looking for.

Also try this place, I went to a wedding there once it was nice, near Columbus abt 45 mins S of Indy. . Text is from their web site

Historic Henry Breeding Farm

The 3,500 square foot barn and grounds are rented for all types of events from casual to formal: weddings and receptions, auctions, family gatherings, business conferences and retreats, seminars, dances, and other private events. The formal herb garden is the perfect location for an outdoor wedding. The barn has a kitchenette to accommodate your catering needs. The barn can accommodate 300 persons. We have available seating for 160. This includes 160 folding chairs and 30 six-foot banquet tables. Additional tables and chairs may be rented from a number of vendors in and around Columbus. Please contact BCHS at 812-372-3541 to schedule an appointment to visit the barn and grounds.
