Thank you for these suggestions. I would like to find an unfurnished short term apartment (3 months). I just prefer to sleep in my own bed if possible. Anyone know of an apartment complex willing to allow a three month lease?

Congrats on selling your house, that is awesome! See folks, they ARE still selling!
I know that there are several who will allow short term leases, but the cost will be higher. Where are you looking?

That place is a dump though. I checked it out before moving here, and the one they showed me seemed really shoddy. I guess it might be tolerable for a short time though.

Thank you for the suggestions.
We are looking to stay on the Northside or at least reasonably close. We are hoping to sign a three month lease with a month to month option after the three months.
We need at least two bedrooms because I work at home. Also have a cat. Any suggestions?

ABOUT TO BE HOMELESS...need House Now!!
Hello? I'm new to this site, and I had a problem that was unrelated to the topic. Over a month ago, before this situation of mine occured, I, my mother and my Jack Russell Terrier, Mitzvah, were living at a house that we had. My mother and I had good paying jobs with flexible hours, and we were about to get raises, we also sold our car so that way we could have enough money to make a way down south to South Carolina. My sister who has not talked to us in a long time calls us up, and tells us about her pains and sorrows. We were concerned about her issue, but did not think it through, and in response, we left to travel to her house in South Carolina. Well, before we arrived, she mentioned that we would not be able to celebrate our belief in the Almighty God. It was apparent to us, that something was up. Sure enough, it was all a roux and we were left stranded, with no other place to go, except back to Indianapolis. I am now currently unemployed, but going to get an interview with a UPS position. My mother and I are staying at a person's house, who has a problem with pets. We either have to get rid of our dog or leave, and my mother and I are very attached to the dog. We have had our dog for 8 years and she is 9 years old. My mother and I need transitional housing assistance and we would be wiling to work for an apartment and transportation if possible, an apartment that will allow pets is a plus, plus furnish all utlilties. If there is any one that can help, my phone number is 1-317-717-8162. Thanks for reading one and all
Sincerely
Abraham_Hawkins
