Whether it is 2 days or 50 years later, that crime would naturally leave a strong lingering hurt in the heart of anyone finding out about it.

I am a big fan of true crime books and I JUST recently read this story, not even knowing it took place in Indianapolis when I purchased the book. It was an extremely sad story, one that made me sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, these types of crimes will continue to happen until the justice system learns to punish these people properly!!!

The woman responsible for this teenager's death died a long, torturous death herself, albeit at her own hands, from her own habit.

AGreekDude, I know the writing hasn't been there more than 4-5 years, my brother was in there legitimately back then to measure the place for carpet and said there was no writing. Although he did say the place was creepy.

I seriously can't stop thinking about this. I find myself thinking of it every time my mind wanders off. I dream about being able to go back and rescue her.

She didn't suffer enough. I knew someone who served time with her. My friend said that Gertrude was a genuinely evil person.
I was truly disgusted with Indiana when they paroled that witch. |
