I've watched yesterday "An American Crime" and couldn't find sleep after, at night, I felt like weeping all the tears in my body.
The poor 16-yo girl was murdered exactly 43 years ago this day.
I hope the beasts that tortured her are burning in hell right now.
I hope that poor angel will never be forgotten.
If some of you could contribute with a few sentences to her memory and tell me if this tragedy is still remembered in Indianapolis.
Sometimes I'm ashamed to be an human being, animals are sometimes more human...

I'm going to be lazy - can you give the rest of us lazy bastards a little background info please? I THINK I know but want to double check.

EDIT: I was curious because I never heard of it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sylvia_Likens

It is horrible.

Indy does have it's share of crime though Enough that something like this would have been forgotten about in just a few years

Yes.
And I think the Indiana Justice system was far too lenient with these bastards (Gertrude Banizewski and her "tribe"), which is a shame, and I wonder why the neighbours , who knew of the abusing of the girl, were not brought to justice.
