Default Got a job offer in Carmel-- help!!!

I need temporary (six to eight months?) housing.
Thinking $1000 or less and needs to be furnished.
Will still be paying a mortgage until our house sells,so $ will be tight.

Any ideas on temp housing appreciated.

Also need something for 2 weeks in middle Nov or early Dec.
Might be too hard to find an apt before then.
Residence Inn too pricey... where else?

Help!!!
Can you point me to some neighborhoods/areas to check out.
Close to 116th and 465.
Thanks!

Pickwick Farms isn't very nice - probably is affordable though, but I wouldn't live there myself.

There are several apartment complexes in Carmel and I would assume several are

Providence at Old Meridian | Apartments for Rent in Carmel Indiana | Buckingham Companies

Do a search at forrent.com

Main street on the Monon

Old Towne on the Monon

Lakes of carmel

Retreat Apartments

Do a google search on those get the phone numbers, call and see if they have furnished aptments

Not sure what you will find furnished. My guess is you would do better with a standard apt, buying an air mattress, card table and chair.

Stay out of:

Pickwick Farms
Spyglass
anything around 71st/Michigan
any apts s of 96th, with the exception of a couple along 86-9600 Allisonville
limit your search to Fishers/Carmel
