Default How to check neighborhood safety/crime?
I posted about needing a place to live.
I decided maybe to not limit my search to just Carmel.
Thinking now Broad Ripple? maybe? or downtown?

A while back someone posted a website? to check crime data?

or heck, just tell me what areas to avoid...

okay, fountain square, fletcher...
how about area south of fall creek, west of college, east of meridian?
what about what's around Butler?
Rocky Ripple?

Between Meridian and College and south of Fall Creek is Fall Creek Place. It is a nice neighborhood, alot of newer houses.

South of Fall Creek, good luck finding a rental. Don't stay in any apts down there lots of sex offenders.

Rocky Ripple, not a bad area for crime, but not lots of rentals.

Ripple, again not bad on crime, but you are looking more at rental homes not so many apts.

There are some decent apts in the Castleton/Carmel/Fishers area.
