Even if you find a good job there is too much to complain about in Indiana
Just want to throw this out there... I was ready to get out of Indiana to a better climate and "more exciting" area. I moved to Charleston, SC, which many consider "paradise", but it has really made me appreciate Indiana. I lived in Carmel/Westfield area and looking back, can't imagine a better area for raising a family. Other than the ocean/beach, Charleston does not have more than the Indpls area. People are friendlier in Indiana, better schools, the cost of living is much better, much better quality housing, people are more ambitious, if something needs fixed (ie. the traffic improvement in Carmel with the roundabouts) they do it. I miss the zoo, children's museum, shopping, colts, pacers, access to pretty much ANYTHING you could need.
I'm telling you, the grass is always greener.

I've been to Luquillo. You are in for a BIG shock in Feb. in Indiana. No palm trees or beach there! Good luck!
