I know infact it is 5,400 employees they will be laid off untill January 19th during the mean time they will still receive checks from the Union and will be able to draw unemployment.

Jobs are scarce right now, boyfriend and I both lost our jobs about a month ago and still can't find anything.

Well, hopefully now that the gov. it going to extend loans to the 2 automakers with their hands out, things will get a little bit better ... fingers crossed for those are reading this and wish they would be working instead.

Hey there domergurl. I don't frequent the Indystar forums very much since they changed. They are too cumbersome.

MJ, how is the home selling business? Probably the same as it is everywhere. I moved from Indy to S.C. last year. I love the weather as it has been int he 70's all week, but I do miss Indy.

I love real estate, I"ve actually sold about 1.5 million this year, which is good for a year like this and an agent with 3 years under her belt. I'm laying the tracks for when the train starts moving again!!
