There's diversity in Carmel schools, just not economic diversity. A lot of families move to Carmel for the public schools, just like most suburban areas in America. Having artistic touches in a house is nice, but many families put that on the backburner when it comes to educating their children.

I can't believe the Carmel haters are still at it in this thread. Give it a break children, this post is over a year old. These posts are from people who have an axe to grind or have wealth envy. Wealth meaning anyone having or perceived having more than them. Or, another way you can look at it is misery loves company. I know plenty of people who live in Carmel and they are by no means "rich".

Carmel is a great place to live with a wonderful quality of life. And BTW, I don't live in Carmel.

spyder1375 is on a distinguished road
We just bought a 2500 sqft Cottage home for $295,000. not bad for the area. Especially moving from Portland, OR it is a steal compared to out here.
