Default Favorite Local Indianapolis Businesses

What are the best local places to eat, shop, drink, and be generally blissful in the Indianapolis area? Perhaps we can learn some new spots to explore if it suits others on this forum.

-Yats Cajun and Creole (the one in Broad Ripple is my fav, with the one on Mass Ave a close second)
-Maria's Pizza on Prospect Street in Fountain Square

Check out the most recent issue of Indianapolis Monthly which has a long article about the Best places for a lot of things. I found some I did not know existed.

Just got my issue yesterday! They are giving away all my secrets

It's not a restaurant, but I loved shopping at O'Malias. And still, I had one of the best meals of my life at St. Elmo's.

And since, technically, it sill is a business, The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is a gem.

I love King Wok on Lafayette road about 40th and Lafayette. It is Vietnamese but we always get their Chinese dishes and so fresh and delicious. We have gone so often, the girl behind the counter looks up and says "same thing" when we come in. I look at the menu each time and order the same thing.

My favorite Pizza joints are Jocomo's in Irvington on Washington and Bazbeauz. Yummmy. I swear there is a little bit of ginger in the BBQ chicken pizza sauce. Makes me keep eating and eating to figure it out.
