Not sure if anyone is aware; but on the "Investigation Discovery Network," there is a new show called "The Shift." I don't get that network, so I am using an iTunes giftcard to buy an episode. Anyone see the first episode?

For those that have no idea what I am talking about, here is an informative link:

I would like to check out this show, but I apparently don't get this network on my U-Verse service.

Edit: Check that. I do get this network (Channel 260 on U-Verse)! I've set it to record on my DVR.

I watched the show this morning on my pc. If you like shows similar to "First 48," you will probably like The Shift. It was pretty strange seeing them investigate a murder on West 38th Street, and then visit Fountain Square Diner and Shapiro's.

It is on at 10:00 pm on Tuesdays on Investigation Discovery Network. It is 111 on Comcast and apparently 260 on U-Verse. It is pretty interesting, I like watching those kinds of shows and wonder what it is like here in Indy, and now I know!

Wink The Shift- Great show

This is one of the greast yet weirdest shows I have ever seen. I love to watch First 48, CSI, and Cops. As A CJ major it is always interesting to watch these types of shows. I think it is great show because its based on a local city, but yet it is weird cause it set here in my own city!!! Can't wait to see what else unfolds on the streets of Indy!!!

HMMM ~~ As long as this show does NOT give INDY the same reputation that the 'First 48' gave Memphis.!! That show 'camped out' there 'cause the murder rate was a dime a dozen. Then the corrupt Mayor Herenton and his cronies had the ballz to blame the 'TV SHOW' for the `baaaad` image it portraid of Memphis.
Gimme a Break..!! lmao.!

It actually appears to put IMPD in a positive light. They selected IMPD Homicide because it has a solve rate much higher than the national average.

Question iTunes

Thanks for pointing out that the show is on iTunes, as I too do not get this network (basic Comcast). I don't use iTunes enough to know ... will they post more than just the first episode, and, if so, how long does it take for them to be uploaded? Thanks!

They usually put an episode up within 24 hours after it airs for the first time. It costs two dollars per episode; but I might get the season pass with one of the gift cards i received.
