if they don't have a Costco's in Carmel, then I would have to travel to Costco on N Michigan Road or the one in Castleton to get my authentic and tasty Kirkland Italian meatballs.

I go to the Castleton Costco at least 3 times a month ... their chicken pot pies are to die for!

chicken pot pies you say? I also bought a box of those scrumptious chicken pot pies at Costco. we threw everything into our cart that looked good.
if we missed something really super, let me know. it's okay to promote Costco's fine food to keep Hoosiers happy.

They also have a terrific salmon in basil butter dish that you just pop into the oven. My five year old love love loves it! The chicken pot pies are seasonal, so they will stop making them soon. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't be near a Costco.

I saw that salmon but questioned whether it was true native Atlantic salmon. didn't have my test kit with me.
even in countries like Denmark and Norway true native salmon is becoming very rare.

I asked about that and it's farm raised.

farm raised salmon? It's probably loaded with red dye. a self-respecting Dane wouldn't buy and eat that. a true Dane wouldn't eat a Plumrose canned ham either. if you talk with a Dane in Denmark about Danish Plumrose canned hams being sold over here, the Dane is shocked to hear it. Canned ham is a no-no in Denmark.

Hey there. The movers just packed us up yesterday and after work/daycare today, I'm driving the dog and girls up. And from now on I'll be doing the weekend commute instead of my wife (we found a decent rental house in Mundelein by the way). My goal is to be up there after the first week of May. Hopefully the house will sell by then. As far as work...I have to start looking, but my top priority is to get rolling on my Masters thesis which is due in November. I will be lonely here during the week, but at least my nights will be free to do my homework.
Later!

Spartanacus, good luck in your move and hope you find a buyer soon for your house. I've looked at so many homes around Indy lately that my head is spinning. The supply of existing homes out there is too much to digest. Need to back off and get my head straight.
