I love Kincaids or Kona Grill at Clay Terrace. Kincaids is owned by the same people as Palomino downtown, and it is similar with a nice upscale, progressive atmosphere. Kona Grill has various Asian/Pacific style foods in a nice setting, I love their Macadamia Chicken.

For Italian , I would recommend Mangia - on South Range Line Road - I have been their twice - very good.

Here is a place that looks nice - if you like French food - I have not been here yet. Bistro de Paris - Carmel, Indiana

If you are willing to travel to 86th and Ditch - Oakley's Bistro is great.

Mitchell's Fish Market is pretty good - not a romantic atmosphere though.

Glass Chimney is excellent.

If you are looking at an anniversary or something romantic, I would go to Oakley's or the Glass Chimney.
