Indianapolis Metro Police Department
I am currently in the Military and I get out in about 9 months, I have recently completed my criminal justice degree, and I want to apply for the Metro police. I know I have to fill out the online "interest" form, but i'm curious if they are actually hiring, and how long the process takes. I may want to start it soon if take 6 months or so....
If they arent hiring, then is there a link or some information to marion or surrounding counties that are hiring in the CJ field....wheter it be court, police, sheriff, etc...
I just moved into the area, so im not too familiar with everything.
Any information is appreciated.

IMPD is always taking apps and has a rotating process schedule as is listed on the IMPD website.
The process takes approx a year from time of interview to entry into academy.

One area that is hiring police is Whitestown PD, northwest Indy. With the Anson development, they are expanding all services. |
