Moving to Indy from Louisville
Hello All! Looking for some info about where to live in Indy. I've been offered a job in the Speedway area (zip code 46224). My preference is the suburbs. Currently live in the east end of Louisville/Jefferson Cty which is considered a "better" part of town-lots of new home construction, houses in the $250K+ range, good shopping/restaurants close by. Looking for apts, I'm comfortable with up to $800/mo, hopefully for 2 br. Where should I be looking? Prefer complexes, with the usual amenities-pool, clubhouse, laundry, etc, the newer the better. I currently commute 20 min or so to work; I'm sure the traffic is better here in Louisville, since Indianapolis is larger but I'd like to keep it under 30 min, if possible, but I'm pretty flexible about that. As a single woman in my early 40's, being safe and comfortable is of most importance. Any info is greatly appreciated.
