Default Empty nesters house hunting in Indy area

My husband will be working in Muncie, but we would like to live closer to Indy, without making his commute unbearable. We would like to purchase a home in the 450,000 to 525,000 range. Any suggestions?

I don't know what kind of commute you would thingk is unreasonable, but check out Noblesville, Fishers, and Carmel. In that price range, you should not have any trouble finding a great house!

Much more than an hour one way would be unreasonable. Thanks for the suggestions.

Live on the northeast side of Fishers as close to Exit 10 off I-69 as possible. One particularly nice neighborhood is called Barrington Estates ... you'll find a beautiful home in your pricerange. I'll also throw in Thorpe Creek, Gray Eagle and one other neighborhood that is escaping me right now ... on Olio Road across from Avalong ... ! Ugh!!! I'll think of it in a minute ...

There should be a couple of very nice waterfront homes in Cambridge subdivision in the Geist (close to 96th and Olio Road) coming onto the market soon.
