Warren Central HS
What can you fine folks tell me about Warren Central HS? I'm considering applying for a job there, and only know the google-able basics about it (huge, diverse, good sports and arts, career center, freshman campus). Would appreciate knowing anything else you can share.
Thanks!

i went there for about a year and a half
its a huge school, definitely got its fair share of ghetto kids and troublemakers....diverse student body.....known for there football team (won the 5A state championship 4 years in a row, 2003 2004 2005 2006)
i dont know what else to tell you...ask a question and ill answer it i guess
but an interesting fact is that maybe about 4 or 5 months ago some teacher either fell off the roof or jumped off the roof and died

Warren Township schools are better than Center Township, but not much else. Before I left Indy, the inner city problems were starting to move outward and Warren Township seemed to be one of the places that caught a lot of the outward migration. Not sure what it is like now, but I wouldn't send my son there.

Warren Central was home to the Code Red gang that broke into homes on the SE side, including officers houses to try and get weapons.

warren central hs
i graduated from warren in 2008 i was verry glad to graduate. i disliked the school very much the students there had no respect for learning or others. the halls were often crowded with rude people. their student population is over 4000 students. and the building is huge over 1 million square feet under one roof .they do have a good football team .funny thing to speaking of the football team i think it was in 07 they were cought by a news team practicing out of season. their academics is weird instead of going on a 4.0 scale like most school they go on a 12.0 scale making it difficult come time for college, and their grade software ed tracker is not very good it will put in classes you didnt sign up for or put bad grade in place of good grades .warren does have good teachers but not very good kids. people are right to say that most of the kids are ghetto and trouble makers this is due to the fact that alot of the kids that are like that come from IPS. Instead of blacks and hispanics being the mionority whites are the minority at warren.but A good thing is they have stepped up their rules and have become more strict In 2010 warren central will begin to enforce uniforms.
