Biking on the Monon trail, pedaling the little boats of the canal, enjoying the ISO at the Hilbert, 4th of July at the prairie or fireworks at Lions park in Zionsville, summer concerts at Verizon Wireless and obviously all the sports. Too bad USGP is now gone. I definitely enjoyed the "international" exposure Indy got in those years.

Taking all the kids and heading to the Indy 500 parade or kids festival are a must for me.

I love going downtown and checking out all the places like the bands at the Ratskellar or going to Holiday park and walking the trails.

I love all the special events. There's always things to do even if your wallet is empty. I especially enjoy when the Colts or Pacers have a good year. It is a fun place to be.

I like hiking trails. Quiet walks in the parks. I like activities but not big crowds. So, I like to get in early and get out before it gets too busy. I love museums and nice libraries. I also like ethnic foods. I hope Indy has some really good Thai restaurants and some good pizza vendors. I ordered a pizza once with spinach and it was absolutely delicious.

The name escapes me, but there's also one in a strip at 86th and Ditch -- the one that used to house Salvatore's.

There is a pretty good Thai restuarant on the south side of 82nd Street just to the east of Allisonville Road. I believe it's called the Thai Taste and the food is very good.

There is also the Jasmine at 4825 E 96th St Indianapolis, another favored Thai restaurant.

There are several Thai restaurants, actually. Many were cited below; there's another good one in Broad Ripple, near the high school.

There are two excellent Thai restaurants in Bloomington, but that's another story.
