I have not personally built a home with M/I Homes but I do have some friends that have and they are very happy with their home and the experience that they had. The said the items that were included with the home were very nice so they didn't feel like they had to upgrade everything. They also said their consultant was very detailed with them so they didn't have any surprises. They have not had any problems so I can't help you there. They did mention they were able to get a lot of thier questions answered by going through their web-site prior to visiting a community.
