Scroll down to midpage to where it says Township Line road will be widened to 5 lanes in 2010 and then read on to the next page.

The Town of Plainfield announed plans for this project years ago and next year it will begin one of it's most vital phases of this on going project. Which has been going on in increments over the last few years.

The town of Plainfield will install a roundabout at Township Line Road and Smith Road( E CR 900 S) to keep from having to widen that section of Township Line Road and to keep traffic light in that area of town.Township Line Road from Dan Jones Road to Vestal Road will be widened to 5 lanes. Then Township Line Road will be extended Northwest of Vestal Road and then will curve south to connect with Saratoga Parkway.

Saratoga Parkway will be widened to two lanes in each direction( most likely) as a later phase of this project which hasn't been announced yet.

Perry Road from Stafford Road down to Clarks Creek Road will be widened to 5 lanes as another phase of this project this summer.

Already completed phases of this project:

The Moon Road/CR 600/Saratoga Parkway and US 40 Intersection Improvement was a phase of this project.

The widening of Hadley Road(between Center Street and Clarks Creek Road) along with the installation of a roundabout at Center Street and Hadley Road and the upgrading of the Intersection of Hadley Road and State Road 267 was also another phase of this project.

Hopefully this makes sense to you guys.

Thanks for the info Gdude.

If any road around here needs to be widened, it's Rt 36!

Thank God I don't have to drive on that road during rush hour.

Your Welcome!

US 36 is currently being widened to 6 lanes over the course of this year.

US 36 between 625 and Raceway is a nightmare.
