Didn't they cancel the shuttles to the 500 this year also? I seem to recall hearing something about that. I thought it was kind of stupid.

Judging by the parking, I'm assuming that most people drive to the track rather than take buses, although I don't doubt that many do take advantage of them.

I don't think the lack of, or potential lack of bus service will do much to damage attendance. I think the economy is taking care of it well enough.

A private company ran the shuttles at the 500 this year. That same company is going to handle the shuttles for the Brickyard.

ROFL I agree about the Tires!!! LOL what a mess that was last year! And, domegurl, people well go to the race no matter what. When there is a will, theres a way. Busing wont stop me.

I am sure there is a busing system, you see them everywhere on race day as they nearly plow down us in our cars. I will check with my grandmother since she rode one last year to the race. Its not indygo busses but more of a non commercial bus, if that makes any sense. Good luck
