Default How's the job market in Indy?

I was just wondering how the job market is in Indianapolis for a person with no college degree. Who has experience working in factories, with a background in corrections and armed security, and who has worked for the railroad briefly and as a counselor in a resident disabled children's group home. I am trying to anticipate how long it might take someone with those qualities who was dilligently looking for work to obtain fulltime employment. Any ideas, suggestions, help or job offers appreciated. They are for my soon to be ex-husband who can't seem to find a job to pay his child support. Although if he stopped quiting jobs and moving from state to state he might be employed, OMG did I say that
