PM me and I can tell you all about the US Postal Service--this is not the forum for that subject, in my opinion. And I am hardly anti-tax (have far less problem w/ Medicare) but I think there are plenty of incompetently managed government programs out there.

I'm bewildered that you have never had a negative experience with the USPS.

Ok, i'm sure you can parade your ignorance around in plainfield with your beer belly and deer hunting friends, but since your on the internet your views are on display for everybody.
Looting, riots, and murder?
We were all in big trouble for a brief period of time but it now seems like the recession is coming to an end. California has the largest population, of course the problems of our state will be magnified.
There's also many different interest groups that have conflicting ideas which help to slow down legislation. And on the question of socialism, if california didn't have high taxes in contrast to your state or other social programs, the inner cities would have been pulverized after the dot-com crash and subsequent lay-offs of workers following free trade agreements that sent hoards of factory and other trades off to third world counties so they could pay them less. (mexico, china,) Companies such as dole fruits canning operations that employed numbers of people before moving over-seas for slave-labor.
I must agree many of the manly men here do like to kill deer.
